Quite simply, working closely with our customers means we always work smarter and more productively.

	Aerospace IFA are specialists in the manufacture of 'fast-track' prototypes and development pieces for test rigs. Our speed and flexibility means we can provide highly specialised 'one-off' forgings as well as bulk production. IFA are approved not only for forging but also heat treatment and inspection/NDT. As a company which supplies safety critical parts we're also approved by the Civil Aviation Authority and many international organisations.
	Oil & Gas IFA manufactures to the exacting requirements and testing standards of customers and regulatory bodies alike. IFA is approved by: Lloyds Register and Norsok - an internationally recognised, stringent standard for components used in oil and gas production.
	Nuclear Sector Historically this plant has manufactured General Forgings for the Nuclear industry up to 10,000Kg in piece weight. We have supplied to the civil Nuclear industry from the development days in the 1950's to the Magnox program, and up to 3000 tons per year from 1979 to 1984 for the AGR reactor program in the UK. Forgings were supplied to the Sizewell "B" PWR, and most recently to the current Westinghouse AP reactors including Nickel Alloy 690. Holding many approvals Nuclear Supply Chain OEM's and major suppliers, which include R-R, AREVA, BAE Systems, British Energy, Siemens, ALSTOM, we manufacture Press Forged high pressure components, valve blocks, cooling system support rings, heat exchanger tube plates, and smaller rings for flanges and seals.
	Marine & Defence An important IFA specialism is our ability to undertake, in partnership with mill manufacturers, particularly large forgings in development materials. A good example of this type of project is the lnconel725 Actuator forging shown to the right. IFA has supplied to the defence nuclear program over the last decade, with forgings up to 1600Kg in weight in Nickel Alloy 725 for the ASTUTE program. lnconel Is a Registered Trade Mark of Special Metals Corporation.
	Power Generation / IGT IFA's fast response means we can quickly supply blade material, rings, rotor drums and shafts as wen as high temperature materials for repair and maintenance in the power generation and industrial gas turbines sector.
